Guarantee on our tractor components

At TracPartz we like you to be satisfied with our products. Our first condition is that your product works as it should. New products sold by us carry a manufacturer's warranty of 2 years. This means that you receive a full 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The duration of warrantees is stated on the product page of every product, and will depend on whether you have ordered a used or new product. Used products are excluded from any form of warranty.

When does the warranty period start?
Factory warranty of new products always commences from the date of purchase of the product.

When does the warranty apply?
You can use your warranty if:

There is something wrong with your product or it does not work properly
If there is a problem that has not been caused by you. Is there something wrong with your product or does it have defects? Please contact us as soon as possible so we can work out a solution. If we ask you to return the article, we will pay for shipping costs.

What is not covered by warranty?
Some situations are not covered by warranty such as:

  • Used components / parts
  • Damage that is caused by yourself by incorrect use of the product  
  • Parts that are affected by wear and tear  
  • Products of which you knew they were damaged or defective before you purchased them Products returned by you before notifying and consulting with TracPartz about their return
  • Parts that fall under the heading "Electra" can only be returned in consultation. There in many cases damage can occur due to improper use or a defect in the electrical circuit of your tractor / machine. In this case we will always request and check the defective part.

Do you have a problem with a product that is not covered by warranty? Please contact us. Ot aim is satisfied customers and we will always try to find a solution to your problem. Product Warrantees are non-transferable to third parties. If you have purchased an article through, for example, E-Bay, then you will usually pay for any repair costs or a replacement item.

Legal warranty?
The manufacturer's warranty does not affect statutory warranty. Legal warranty applies to all items. This means that a product is, or has to be, what you (reasonably) might expect of it. In short, this means that the product, under normal use, should not break down within 2 years. Used / second hand products are excluded.

Cooling-off period

14 days of trial time

We are happy to welcome you as our customer and that is why we provide you with a trial period of 14 days. Within that time, you can cancel your order without giving reasons or extra costs. This means that you must notify us of your intention to cancel your purchase. Once you have communicated this to us, you have 14 days to return the product or products to us.

We request that you return the goods in its original packaging, and in unused and undamaged condition. After we have received your cancellation notice, we will reimburse your purchase sum as soon as possible (at the latest within 14 days and usually within 3 working days) by returning your payment to the bank account number that you have provided to us. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have recovered the returned goods, or until you have shown that you have returned the goods, whichever date comes first.

Used items cannot be returned.

Right of recall

Right of recall applies to consumers, but not to companies.

After expiry of the trial period

If you have had your product for more than 14 days, and you are not satisfied, we ask that you contact us. We will work out a suitable solution with you, because the most important factor for us is that you are and remain to be happy.

Warranty is independent of trial period
Matters covered by warranty are separate from trial period conditions. If a product is found to have defects, we will fix them for you straight away. We use the same warranty as the manufacturer's warranty, this is stated on every product information page (usually 2 years).

Returning a product

Is something wrong with your product or does it fail to satisfy your needs? Then you may always return it to us. Return shipping costs are always for the customer’s account unless agreed to otherwise. We want satisfied customers and go a long way for this. That is what service is all about.

When am I able to return a product?
Within 14 days after delivery.
If you are not satisfied with your product (for whatever reason)

14 day trial period

We provide you with a 14 day return policy on our products (the legal trial period is only 14 days). You may return the product you purchased within those 14 days if you are not satisfied. However, for products that are damaged or show evidence of wear that exceeds that which is necessary to check the operation, properties or nature of the product, you will be liable. Also note that the 14 day trial period does not apply to used products. In this case, we reserve the right to charge costs. If you notify us of your intention to return products to us, you will have up to 14 days after such notice to return the products in question.

How does the return process work?
To start with, we ask you to complete our Return Form. Once we have received your Return Form we can process your situation. We prefer it if you return the product in its original packaging. Failing that, we ask you to package it as securely as possible before sending it back. The costs related to return shipments will NOT be refunded by us.

In some cases you will be able to exchange the product through the courier when you receive a new product. We will notify you if this is the case.

Purchase costs refund
We will deposit your purchase costs back into your account as soon as possible, usually within 3 working days, at the latest within 14 days after cancellation.

If you have had your product for more than 14 days but you are not satisfied with it after all:
We will try come to an agreement with you. Please contact us and we will try and find a solution for you.

Your product is defective, so what now?
If your product is defective please complete a Return Form: when we receive the defective product, a mechanic will carry out a check and repair. If verification by the mechanic shows that the product is not repairable, then of course, a replacement product will be sent to you. In most cases, you will receive a repaired or replacement product back within 3 to 5 business days!
